Adwan and her uncle’s influence. Her uncle, Kansbar has promised Shuri in
marriage to another. Kansbar is a master of the dark arts and he stops the
young lover from fleeing. He curses Jinn into a ring and delivers Shuri to her
intended groom, thus separating the couple forever. The centuries pass and Jinn
is still a captive of the ring; that is until present day antiques dealer Mia
Templeton accidentally releases him.
